Workshop Deadlines

The deadline for the Early Bird discount on workshop enrollment was May 2, but it's not too late to enroll at full price. Note the following deadlines for financial aid:

April 15 for Early Music America scholarships (all workshops)
April 15 for American Recorder Society scholarships (all workshops)
April 28 for Recorder Workshop scholarships
May 15 for the Greenberg Scholarship (Baroque and Med/Ren)
May 15 for the Med/Ren Artist-in-Residence program
May 20 for the SFEMS Med/Ren Scholarship
May 25 for the Baroque Work/Study program
May 31 for the Viola da Gamba Society (Baroque and Med/Ren)

The Greenberg Scholarship

The Greenberg Scholarship (in memory of harpsichord builder Robert Greenberg) is awarded by audition to a promising harpsichordist who will attend either the SFEMS Baroque or the Med/Ren Workshop.

Viola da Gamba Society of America

The Pacifica Chapter of VdGSA has authorized scholarship money for local summer workshops, particularly the SFEMS Baroque and Med/Ren Workshops.
Awards will be made on the basis of merit and/or need.
Please contact the Board President Dalton Cantey (dcantey@att.net) NO LATER THAN May 31 to request a scholarship.

Early Music America

This year EMA will award TEN (10) $500 scholarships--the most ever--in honor of their 25th anniversary. Members are encouraged to contact them for information about how to apply for summer scholarships. The deadline for students to apply for an EMA Summer Workshop Scholarship is April 15, 2011.

American Recorder Society

Members are encouraged to contact them about their summer scholarship programs. Note that their application deadline for scholarships to summer workshops is April 15.
