After a wonderful, energetic and exhilarating 2002
workshop we are preparing for our 2003 workshop. Our primary mission
is to provide a superior education experience in a friendly and
intimate atmosphere for our students. Faculty members are world
class early music specialists who excel in both performance and
teaching. The scholarships will provide opportunities for college
students and people with limited funds to attend the Medieval
& Renaissance Workshop. Scholarships will be offered to singers,
instrumentalists, consorts, and ensembles.
In conjunction with the first annual St. John's Fall
Festival, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on October 5th, SFEMS will be participating
in a booth and will feature several musical presentations. Fun
for all the family: there will be face painting, good eats, and
lots of fun! People coming for the afternoon workshop should allow
extra time for parking. We hope to see you on October 5th!
