Information for Singers

All singers take part in the vocal masterclass, the small chorus, in an afternoon ensemble, and may apply to sing a Baroque aria with Workshop Orchestra on our concerto evening.

Additionally, singers are invited to audition for the solo arias which will be included in the final workshop presentation on Friday evening.

Chris Brandes will hold coached auditions for prospective singers on Saturday, May 23, 2 - 6 pm, at the home of Phebe Craig, in Berkeley. (Address below.) To cover our costs, there will be a small charge for this session, $25. For the audition please prepare one Italian baroque aria that best demonstrates your musical abilities. For those who live out of the area and cannot attend, we will be accepting tapes or CD auditions BY MAY 20, 2009. Send all CDs or tapes to Phebe Craig, 1448 Josephine St., #2, Berkeley, CA 94703.
